We have received numerous requests dealing with watermaring images so we developed this tutorial for Paint Shop Pro (Version 7).
The requests were so heavy that we developed an Online Watermarker as well.If you do not have the time or patience to do these steps for your pictures that may be something you want to try out.
OK - Enough talk - on with the tutorial.
Step 1: Open the image you want to watermark Click File>>>Open>>>Navigate to the directory you have your saved image in

Step 2: Open the image you will use as a watermark Click File>>>Open>>>Navigate to the directory you have your saved image inThis image should be a white background and black text for optimal results.

Step 3: Make Sure the image you WANT to watermark is your active image. Do this by clicking somewhere on this imageCreate a NEW LAYER
Step 4: Still on the image you want to watermark, Make sure your new layer is the active layer Set foreground color to white Flood Fill the new layer white Click on the Flood Fill Tool Left Click on your new layer
Step 5: Copy your black and white watermark image and paste it on the new white layer as a selection (Place it where you want the watermark to appear in the original image)

Step 6: In order to have the raised effect you need to apply an emboss effect.
Click EffectsClick Texture EffectsClick Emboss

Step 7: Your white areas should now be gray and the text should have some effects simulating that it is raised.

Step 8: Now we can make the original pic show through by changing the "Blend Mode of the now embossed layer.
From the layer pallete, click the black arrow next to where it says Normal. Choose "Soft Light"

There you have it - A tranparent watermark in a few simple steps.
